The 2nd Cansat Leader Training Program (CLTP2)

The 4ｔｈ day of CLTP2

It is the 4th day of CLTP2!
Today we went to ISAS/JAXA.
Today’s agenda was the following;
9:30 starting from Nihon Univ.
12:00 arriving at ISAS/JAXA and soon eating lunch.
13:00 tour the facility of ISAS/JAXA.
14:30 lecture on IKAROS by Mr.Shirasawa

16:30 starting from ISAS/JAXA
20:00 arriving at Nihon Univ.
We are very grateful to Professors and staffs of ISAS/JAXA !
We enjoyed so much and we were able to study and know ISAS’s facilities, researches.

It is the 3rd day of CLTP2! Today’s agenda was the following;
9:00-10:20 A lecture about design of satellite.
10:45-12:20 A lecture about system engineering.

(We are very thankful to Associate Prof. Shirasaka for the lecture)

14:00-19:00 working group homework

We worked on the group work of PICkit today, too.
Some team completed their group work.
The rest will complete it a bit more.

Tomorrow we will go to ISAS/JAXA, so we break our craft temporarily.

It is the 2nd day of CLTP2! Today’s agenda was the following;
9:00-13:00 working with PICkit and lectures.
13:00-14:00 having lunch with mentors.

14:00-20:00 working group homework

We worked group homework. Some hard working people did it until around 8 pm !
Everyone did it very well and quickly, so it will progress as planned.

It is the opening day of CLTP2! Today’s agenda was the following;

9:00-12:30   Program guidance and check of the homework

12:30-13:30   Lunch (We prepare special food for the participants everyday)

13:30-14:00   Opening ceremony

14:00-14:10 Spcial Lecture on “UNISEC International Activities”

14:10-15:50   Introductions of research activities and participating countries by CLTP2 participants

16:00-18:00   Facility tour

18:00-20:00   Welcome Reception

CLTP2 participants are staying at the hotel near the Katsutadai station which is about 10 minutes by train from Funabashi campus of Nihon University.

We had a welcome lunch near the hotel today. All CLTP2 participants, Ando-san, Kawashima-san, Leo-san from Indonesia, and Ozawa-san from UNISEC, and twelve members from Nihon University joined the lunch. We had a very good time!

In the last 2days, all participants had arrived in Japan.
Some of them had so long flight that they looked tired.
While a few of them seemed to go sightseeing in Tokyo today.

They are all kind, friendly and smart.
We expect a lot of them.

The time has come,
but it is just a beginning.

He is Prof. Miyazaki with a sign board “Welcome”.
He looks so happy with a smile like a child since CLTP2 participants are coming soon.

The first visiter will arrive at Narita airport tomorrow.
I will go to Narita to welcome him.
